Abstract
The essay aims to describe the Proletkult movement: its ideological origins, the first organizational models, and its emerging role in the first steps of soviet culture. Particular attention will be paid to Proletkult’s poetic works, an original heritage that was very influential at the time, but which is now almost completely forgotten. The essay will also attempt to thoroughly define the concept at the heart of Proletkult’s activity: the utopia of a new humanity organized in a collectivist way.
