Chapter | Appréhender les influences multiculturelles sur les papyrus magiques grecs
Abstract
This paper offers a methodological study aiming to define discriminative markers of cultural identity for the Greek magical papyri, based on the external and internal typologies of these texts. Without claiming to be exhaustive, this research is intended to provide a new perspective to the debate on multiculturalism which is becoming increasingly prominent in the studies on ancient magic.
