Abstract
Il primo capitolo dell’introduzione presenta una panoramica storico-culturale e letteraria sulle relazioni tra l’epos arcaico e la tragedia attica del V secolo. In particolare, sono indagati i seguenti aspetti: 1.1.1 Mito e saga eroica. – 1.1.2 Il narratore e il contesto performativo. – 1.1.3 Epos ciclico, Omero e Tragedia. – 1.1.4 La materia e i motivi narrativi: serietà, organicità, unitarietà e concentrazione tematica. – 1.1.5 Tecnica drammatica ed etopea. – 1.1.6 Profondità concettuale e funzione paideutica. – 1.1.7 La ‘ripresentificazione’ del mito sulla scena: mimesi drammatica, re-interpretazione mitica, contesto storico-culturale del V secolo. – 1.1.8 Conflitto, relativismo etico-morale, riflessione sulla sofferenza: eredità omeriche. – 1.1.9 La dimensione tragica in Omero. – 1.1.10 L’influsso della langue epica nella lexis tragica.
