abstract

The chapter analyses network labour relations and trends in the use of co-employment and labour-law tools aimed at making labour coordination mechanisms in network enterprises more efficient and flexible (worker posting, labour supply management, apprenticeship, staff leasing, consulting). The analysis shows the interest of the sample of business networks interviewed in hiring specialised professionals and managerial skills to support the realisation of common goals, but also a cautious attitude toward the use of co-employment and other available measures. The chapter concludes with some considerations and policy proposals to incentivise the combined use of the network contract and labour tools to support the efficient organisation of network work.
