dc.description.abstract	Large Italian companies play a decisive role in the productive activities and benchmarks set in several areas with positive effects for SMEs and their supply chains. Business network contracts act as drivers of collaboration and management of relations between large enterprises and SMEs. The first part of the chapter introduces the context of the networks in which large enterprises exist; the second part highlights the results of the 2021 Survey and looks at the "large enterprises" sub-sample, with a focus on the launch and objectives of the networks examined, their organizational structure, coordination mechanisms, performance and evolution.
