Abstract
The paper detects some ancient transpositions in Seneca’s De beneficiis which caused serious corruptions. Therefore, a new constitutio textus is proposed at Sen. ben. 2.14.5, 2.34.3, 3.23.4, 3.29.5, 4.40.2, 5.1.5, 5.12.4.
