Nomina agentis in the Dictionary of Technical Terminology by I. Shelud’ko and T. Sadovs’kyj
Abstract
The article is dedicated to the agent nominals from the beginning of the 20th century as recorded in The Dictionary of Technical Terminology published in 1928 by I. Sheludko and T. Sadovsky, one of the most important Ukrainian terminological dictionaries of technical sciences. The research presented in the current article enables to determine the development of agent nominals and trace their dynamics from a historical perspective thus facilitating the understanding about the normative derivation of modern agent names.
