Il secondo capitolo è dedicato a come il corpo umano in antico Egitto fosse scolpito, inciso o disegnato, ma anche elaborato con caratteristiche specifiche a seconda del sesso, dell’età e dello status sociale che di volta in volta si intendeva rappresentare, o definito attraverso immagini di vitalità e vigore contro quelle di decadimento, morte, e infine parzialità, mutilazione, decapitazione.
