Herbert Francis Fox (1858-1926), cricketer. Fox was educated at Clifton College and University College, Oxford. He appeared in ten first-class matches for Somerset County Cricket Club between 1882 and 1891. Fox also engaged with Greek and Latin verse, editing a volume of renderings originally published in the Westminster Gazette, and publishing a commentary on Thucydides, Book 3.
