Commentary on Thuc. 1.1-83.2: notes taken by Alessandro Sardi during the lectures of Francesco Porto at Ferrara. Unpublished work, intended only for Sardi's personal study. It also includes Porto's commentary on several tragedies by Sophocles, various orations by Demosthenes, and the first two books of the Iliad. Its contents closely resemble those found in the published commentary on the first book of the History by Emilio and Francesco Porto 1594. The commentary is preserved in the ms. Modena, Biblioteca Estense, Est. lat. 100 (alpha P.9.2.), s. XVI, fols. 375v-401r.
