Three volumes. Greek text of the History accompanied by a stylistic and grammatical commentary presented in footnotes. Text based on Bekker, Göller, and Poppo's editions. It differs from Bloomfield 1829, which contains the English translation of Thucydides with historical commentary. A revised edition of Bloomfield's work was published in two volumes in 1842-1843 – see Blomfield 1842-1843.
