Abstract
This issue of Axon marks a new change that, while keeping the objectives and aims of our work intact, makes it, we hope, more suited to the new times, the needs of the often young authors, and the characteristics of digital publishing. The journal is abandoning its six-monthly cadence, but is and will be published in the course of each calendar year whenever a group of contributions is ready for publication that we deem appropriate to make immediately available to the scientific community.
