Dedication in Honour of Attalus I
Abstract
The epigraph is a dedication to Zeus and Athena placed on an altar by officers and soldiers of a garrison of the Pergamum army, which was stationed in Aegina, to pay homage to Attalus I of Pergamum. The dedication can be traced back between the year 210/209 BC and Attalus I’s death (197 BC).
