Abstract
To deal with Jewish Studies also means dealing with studies about international relations, understood above all as relationships between different actors, particularly in situations of conflict. In this article, I mention figures and also intense historical moments that stimulated my curiosity and pushed me to widen the confines of my readings. During my teaching, in order to try to explain ‘the Jewish question’, I invited students to reflect on the Jewish diaspora as a transnational phenomenon and as a ‘paradigm’ upon which a reflection on other diasporas and on transnationalism would be built.
