dc.description.abstract	In Italy Roma people are forced into a system of inequalities characterized by multidimensional nature within which, as a result of a number of factors, inequalities combine with one another, accumulate and multiply in grow. There is an unceasing action of institutional racism among these factors which through policies, practices and discourses strengthens and legitimizes the exclusion of Roma. Compared to this situation many experiences of self-organization of Roma are emerging, conveyed mainly by the growth of Roma associations.

abstract

In Italy Roma people are forced into a system of inequalities characterized by multidimensional nature within which, as a result of a number of factors, inequalities combine with one another, accumulate and multiply in grow. There is an unceasing action of institutional racism among these factors which through policies, practices and discourses strengthens and legitimizes the exclusion of Roma. Compared to this situation many experiences of self-organization of Roma are emerging, conveyed mainly by the growth of Roma associations.
