abstract

ASL No 2 Savonese has de ned and developed a clinical risk, accident prevention and management, through the integration of the System of Quality Management. Over the past two years, this paradigm has resulted in the identi cation of responsibilities, duties and functions of the role of the different actors, business methods and procedures introduced. First of all, the leadership (directors and coordinators) were also sensitized through training. Subsequently, they have been designated and trained two 'facilitators' for each structure and sector speci c initiative; company procedures were prepared as a provision for adverse events for reporting arrangements, communication and management. The Risk Management acts as a result of the accident reports drawn up through various analysis tools, in order to overcome the culture of blame, to analyse the human, organizational and technological and plan corrective action and improvement. The members of the UGR (Unit Risk Management) have been trained on non-technical skills to manage adverse events. It has started an active collaboration with the Committee of complaints Management Company.
