Abstract
This year marks the midpoint of my term of office. It has been an intense period for all of us, during which universities have had to come to terms with a completely changed world and have learned to work together. A profound reflection is under way on the future of the university, on priorities, on organisation, on innovative teaching. The university is confronted with an unprecedented challenge in the training of our future leaders, our citizens, in the development of the country. State, local authorities, civil society, businesses, are you prepared to acknowledge this role? And we prepared to assume it?
