Abstract
Disability in literature is an issue still in the process of being studied. Most works deal with the representation of disability from a thematic approach. On the other hand, there is little research that analyses how disability affects and modifies the way authors write. Our study aims to apply theoretical reflection to two case studies of Catalan literature: El teu nom és Olga, by Josep M. Espinàs (1986), and Quiet, by Màrius Serra (2008). This article focuses on the narratological aspects and develops a discursive analysis with the aim of identifying how the fact of writing about characters with disabilities can affect the way authors write.
