Research Article | Women’s Stories against Silence
Abstract
Voices of ‘children’ have emerged in recent years in the vast field of post-traumatic memory, thanks to the rise of associations, publications and talleres dedicated to children who lived without parents or in exile, or with unworthy parents. This painful page is reconstructed not only by children of desaparecidos but also by desaparecidos or apropiados children, after having found their families of origin from which they had been torn away to be adopted by the military and their associates. Women’s texts deal with these issues both in collective testimonies and in individual texts and novels.
