In margine agli Antroponimi e toponimi del Vocabolario del pavano

Abstract

In this paper the preparatory stages to the realisation of the onomastic section of Paccagnella’s Vocabolario del pavano are summarised. The main issues of this section regarded the arrangement of the excerpts and headwords. In its second part the paper discusses some stylistic uses of the proper names in Pavan literature, trying to give a general overview of Pavan onomastic expressiveness, and paying particular attention to some onomastic annotations not included in the Vocabolario.
