Territorio e Inclusione. Strumenti e pratiche a sostegno dell’inclusione sul territorio urbano
Abstract
Inclusion cannot be considered only the outcome of affirmative actions that enable everyone to achieve their personal and human fulfilment whilst respecting their different starting conditions. Effective inclusion is indeed reached by enhancing the skills and experiences that each of us can bring to the municipal context. Among other features, fragility is supposed to become a useful parameter when it comes to changing or implementing local public policy making. This allows all citizens to act as participants in the transformation and policy design processes, for a better enjoyment of spaces open to the community. Starting from the good practices experimented within the municipality of Verona, the essay will examine how different skills and perspectives, if complemented with the appropriate tools, can concretely support some policies of inclusiveness in the territory.
