Abstract
This appendix examines the sea routes possibly contributing to the establishment of Cypro-Aegean connections discussed in the foregoing chapters. In addition to a discussion on the historic textual evidence regarding sailing seasons, this addresses not only the feasibility of sea travel, but also the complexities, such as the climatic and sea conditions of the Aegean region, associated with different routes. Concerning the routes from Crete to Cyprus and from Cyprus to Crete, a Northern Route and a Southern Route have been suggested, while the possibility of a direct sailing from Cyprus to the Argolid is considered feasible although it has been also suggested that Cypriot-Aegean trade also took advantage of local sea routes.
