Chapter | 7 • Conclusions: The Development of Cypro-Aegean Interaction from the Third Millennium BC Until Ca 1200 BC
Abstract
In order to outline the lines of Cypro-Aegean interaction resulting from the development of contacts from the earliest contacts to ca 1200 BC, the discussion in Chapter 7 is based on the synopsis of the archaeological record reviewed in the foregoing chapters. Although archaeological data is here considered both from the Aegean and Cypriot perspectives, a regional approach based on the main Aegean areas (Crete, Dodecanese, the Cyclades and the Greek mainland) as well as the comparative chronology characterize the structure of the chapter.
