Abstract
While a detailed analysis of the apologetic and polemical arguments within the Cantacuzenus corpus against Islam effectively clarifies aspects of continuity and novelty compared to the genre’s tradition, it also produces an inevitable distortion of the work’s overall perception. For this reason, we deemed it appropriate to complete our study on Cantacuzenus’s anti-Islamic work by offering a full Italian translation accompanied by the Greek text. Some essential caveats are provided here.
