La didattica della LIS nei corsi di formazione e di sensibilizzazione alla LIS

Necessità e prospettive alla luce dell’inclusione

Abstract
The need to communicate with deaf people in specific situations underscores the importance of quickly learning sign language. Both public and private institutions attempt to meet this demand through short courses, often lasting only a few lessons, organised for teachers or other workers who may be indirectly involved. However, sign languages take a considerable amount of time to acquire, even at a basic level. For this reason, these short courses aim to offer practical strategies for interacting with deaf people and provide opportunities to promote the acquisition of sign language, ensuring its benefits are not lost. Since Italian Sign Language (LIS) was officially recognised in 2021, interest in this subject has grown, and many aspects still require further clarification.
