Abstract
This contribution aims to describe Seville’s publishing production of Spanish books of chivalry. In particular, it aims to offer a new reading of some of the data already known in order to investigate when Seville became a center for the printing of the genre. In addition, it considers other reasons that make the ancient Hispalis a point of irradiation of the genre, such as the number of titles that were printed there.
