Il dialogo tra Clitemestra e il Coro nella scena finale dell’Agamennone (vv. 1407-1576)
Struttura strofica, drammaturgia, assetto lirico
abstract
The paper examines the final scene of the Agamemnon, and particularly the impressive musical section, with the dialogue between Clytemnestra and the Chorus, immediately preceding the concluding intervention by Aegisthus (vv. 1407-504). The articulated strophic structure of the entire section is analysed from the point of view of dramaturgy and scenic rendering; on this occasion, some precise critical-textual and methodological considerations are carried out concerning the general metrical structure of the song.
