dc.description.abstract	Doron Rabinovici’s work shows an intense political and cultural commitment, which takes shape in novels, documentary theatre, and historical research. This introductory overview of his most recent writings is primarily intended for those who are interested in the contribution of Jewish-Austrian literature to the current European debate on the rise of far-right movements and ideologies. Rabinovici’s provocative point of views in the interview shed light on changing concepts of Jewish identity in a global world, on the link between Israel and the Jewish diaspora, on the roots of new, yet not less dangerous forms of antisemitism, and on the impasse in the process of European cultural memory.

Doron Rabinovici’s work shows an intense political and cultural commitment, which takes shape in novels, documentary theatre, and historical research.
