abstract

At the opening exhibitions of Ca’ Pesaro there were also some artists from Treviso: Aldo Voltolin is one of them, and is one of the most assiduous. He actually took part in them in 1911, 1912 and 1913, and he participated as well at the so called ‘Exhibition of the Rejected Artists’ in 1914. A first study about him took place in the exhibition The Years of Ca’ Pesaro 1908-1920, set up in December 1987 at Correr Museum in Venice, then in 1998 in the study day dedicated to the Donazione Eugenio Da Venezia, when a first attempt to create an update catalog of the artist’s paintings was established. This essay adds new discoveries and considerations.
