Abstract
In Roman Law domain we have brought forward the Bibliotheca Juris Antiqui (BIA-Net) project that moving from standard domain evolves according to Linked Data principles. BIA-Net system is a framework that makes the Roman Law scientific heritage accessible online. The data are encoded according to the DC, TEI and SKOS vocabularies. At this functionality designed for the specific needs of Roman Law scholars, with search functions, views and dedicated services, we have added the publication of BIA-Net in RDF OWL ontology to ensure interoperability with other Semantic Web resources. Particularly, Roman Law sources, in Latin and Greek, are encoded on one hand in TEI format - a format that enables high expressiveness of the texts - and on the other hand are re-engineered into a specific ontology to Ancient Laws modeled reusing metadata schema and domain ontologies.
